AWARD OF COMMENDATION
EK3 (Cineplex Digital Networks)
How do you incorporate the human element into something like a vehicle alignment? This was the challenge posed by Canadian Tire. A pull on the heart strings and a demonstration what happens when your vehicle will not track in a straight line was needed. It had to be simple and direct, so the idea of depicting a child, affected by the problem, became an instant hit.

Transport & Travel

WINNER
Terra Digital – Digital City project
The Terra´s Digital City Project in the Yellow Subway Line is one of the most innovative and disruptive ever conceived for a Subway Line. It has a brand new way of impact subway´s user by taking their momentum into consideration when delivering advertising. The Digital City project has definitely taken Terra to an upper level when talking about offline advertising.

Array Interactive – Embarcadero Center Wayfinding (Judges’ nomination)
Boston Properties, one of the largest owners, operators and developers of commercial real estate in the nation, sought to elevate one of its premier shopping centers; an open-air mall in San Francisco, California called Embarcadero Center. The effort included the strategic integration of newly designed way finding signage—both traditional hardscape signage as will as interactive directory applications—to more effectively usher guests to desired destinations across a complex environment consisting of four distinct buildings with three floors each. Array Interactive architected, designed, developed, and installed a custom interactive wayfinding solution to create an intuitive, dynamic and simplified solution for directional assistance.

WINNER
Netural (Vienna, Austria)
Several technologies combine to create the Silhouette iMirror Public, a spectacular interactive sales display. It was initially conceived as a web-based, pre-sales, marketing tool and subsequently as a mobile app. It invites users to try on Silhouette eyeglass models, virtually, in convincing augmented reality. Upsizing this technology to largescreen format and taking it to shopping mall environments required a tricky combination of augmented reality, motion-controlled interactivity and 3D. The result was Silhouette iMirror Public, a life-size digital signage “mirror” which premiered at Vienna International Airport´s Heinemann Duty Free in July 2013 and made headlines.
